Samsung Mobile NavigatorDetail of Coverage
The road network includes all paved roads between the settlements and a substantial number of unpaved roads:

The detailed coverage covers the settlements in which live 41.4% of the Ukrainian population, including all regional centers and other major cities:

In Kyiv, the map contains a uniquely reliable coverage of in-block passages in the majority of the residential districts:

A substantial number of smaller settlements have the basic street network without street names and address search:

Search
Current version of the map supports address search by numerical house numbers only, not taking into account letters, fractions, buildings etc. now. In this way, the device finds a place in the street which is the closest to the houses with the indicated numerical part and the user can touch the corresponding road in the screen to specify the desirable destination:

The map contains more than 53 500 Points of Interest, such as fuel stations, service stations, restaurants, hotels, banks and cash dispensers, airports, railway and bus stations, subway stations, wharves, border-crossing points, historical sites, temples, museums, theatres, cinemas, pharmacies, hospitals etc. For a significant number of POIs contact information is provided, in particular a phone number allowing to call there immediately, provided that this function is supported by the navigation device:

The routes are calculated directly to the POIs' locations:

Settlements without detailed coverage and address search can be found by name, in this case the route will be calculated to the settlement:

Depending on the functionality of the navigation device model with which the map is used, other variants of search are possible, such as searching for street intersections by names, searching for the user’s own marks, searching by coordinates, pointing a place on the screen, searching by the routes saved earlier etc.:

Automatic Route Calculation
A navigation device with CarteBlanche Ukraine NT map automatically calculates an optimal route from the user’s location to the chosen place, and warns the user in advance about the following maneuver by voice* and visual guidance while driving:

The routes are calculated with regard of the Traffic regulations and traffic capacity (excluding minor roads in small settlements without address search); the user may choose the desirable route parameters depending on the device model:

Depending on the device model with which CarteBlanche Ukraine NT map is used, the user may add intermediate destinations to the route and even sort the destinations automatically to obtain an optimal route connecting them:

If the user derives from the route for any reason, the navigation device recalculates the route automatically and continues guiding the user to the indicated destination. Some device models can even be commanded to recalculate the route in detour if the user sees a problematic area ahead:

CarteBlanche Ukraine NT map can be used in a navigation device together with other maps; in this case the route to the destination will be calculated through all the maps.
